On-chip Debuggers
Renesas provides various kinds of on-chip debugging emulators which offer standard debugging functions at low price. On-chip debugging emulator has the following features.
- Real-time debugging with microcomputer mounted on the user system
- MINICUBE2, E1, E20, and E8a are usable as flash programmers also.
- Ideal for small-scale development and microcomputer evaluation

On-chip debugging emulator for V850 Family, RX Family, RL78 Family, R8C Family, and 78K Family. Also available as a flash memory programmer.
E20
On-chip debugging emulator for V850 Family, RX Family, RL78 Family, R8C Family, and 78K Family. In addition to the debugging functions supported by E1, the E20 provides enhanced trace functions, Real-time RAM monitor functions and other functions as well. Also available as a flash memory programmer.
As for MCUs other than RX600 Series, the available debugging function corresponds to that of E1 Emulator.

On-chip debugging emulator for V850, 78K0R, 78K0, and 78K0S. Also available as a flash memory programmer.
