Motor Control Platforms

Overview

This platform is capable to evaluate different control methodologies for 3 phase motor, such as DC Brushless and AC induction motor. Microcontroller used is interchangeable as the platform conforms to standard interface specification of RSK (Renesas Starter Kit). In current stage, R8C/25 and SH2/7124 RSK have been used. The platform is designed to meet various evaluation conditions, such as AC main input, direct DC supply, sensor and sensorless interface. Opto-coupler isolation is also built in to provide direct debugging using E10A Debugger.

  • Supports mechanical sensors (Hall-effect sensors and encoders)
  • Motor phase current detection through current transducers

    • Vector Senor/ Sensorless Control
